Stop for Android TV

Everyone on the couch. No one stays still.

The classic letters-and-categories game, built for laughing together. The TV runs the game; everyone answers on their own phone.

01 — Three ways to play

Same room. A different rhythm.

Choose a classic game, an ever-changing challenge or one category after another. The rules appear on the TV before you begin.

01

Total surprise

Each prompt uses a new letter and category. Answer before time runs out.

02 default mode

Traditional

Answer every category at your own pace. The first player to submit ends the round for everyone.

03

Category chaos

The letter stays the same while categories appear one at a time, in the same shuffled order for everyone.

You can also adjust

Your room. Your rules.

Set the categories, letters, points, penalties, rounds, timer, voting and difficulty before opening the room.

Hard mode: the most obvious answers can be excluded.

02 — How to play

One TV. One phone per player.

No accounts and no passing the remote around. The TV creates the room and keeps everyone in the same round.

Open the room

Choose the rules on Android TV. A QR code lets everyone join over your home network.

Answer

The TV shows the letter, category and timer. Everyone types on their own phone.

Decide together

The game recognises clear answers. Doubtful ones can go to a vote, while the host keeps the final say.

See who won

Scores appear on the TV between rounds. At the end, play again with the same rules and players.

03 — Built for the room

More play. Less setup.

The TV stays clear from across the room, while the phone keeps every answer within easy reach.

Quick entry

Scan the QR code, choose a name and join. There is no account to create.

Voice and pace

The TV announces the countdown, letters and categories. Music and visual cues track the time.

Group review

Clear answers are recognised; the others go to a vote or a decision on the TV.

Multiple languages

The first version supports 14 language variants, including UK and US English.

Families and friends

If they can write, they can join.

Made for mixed-age groups, including children aged 7 and over. Everyone plays together in the same room, with simple, family-appropriate content.

04 — Questions

What you need before the first round.

Which devices do I need?

A TV or set-top box with Android TV and one phone per player. Phones join through the browser, so there is no second app to install.

Do I need an Internet connection?

Players connect directly to the TV over the same local network. The Internet is used to download voice packs and, where applicable, show advertising.

Are there ads during the game?

The first match in every four-hour period is ad-free. Later matches may show one video after a review, never while players are answering, watching a timer or voting.

Do photos and answers go online?

Not for gameplay. Names, photos, answers, votes and scores travel only between phones and the TV on the local network. The privacy policy explains voice packs, technical data and advertising.
